Very tall head with medium to large bubbles. Dark straw colored body. Typical aroma of eastern European pilsner. Tyipical flavor of one too, on the sweet side of malt. Wouldn’t surprise me they even might have a touch of corn in there too. Slight banana in the aftertaste. Overall a nice clean taste, but nothing I’d go out of my way to get.

From 99 Bottles of Federal Way, WA. Another purchase of a pale Euro-lager, solely to knock off Romania on the countries list. From the obligatory green bottle, I was poured a nicely clear and rich gold under a (surprise!) smallish white head. Aroma was faint, bit of citrus and what I guessed might be biscuit (I doubt it), but oddly, no hops. Taste was bland but not repulsive, mouthfeel a bit sharp, and finish was tolerable. By no means a good beer. Interesting label - is that Vlad the Impaler I see? That might account for the taste.
