Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. Part of a holiday 6 pack. This pours a medium brown colour with red hues and a dark tan head. Toffee, yeast, and figs tingle the aromatic sense. Flavour has notes of nutty malt, caramel, yeast, and spices. The best of the 6 pack.

Pours a pretty big foamy beige head and comes to a thin coating. Leaves dirty lacing. Has a copper brown appearance with red highlights. Alcohol is almost immediately noticeable but followed up with some toasty and nutty malt aromas with notes of raisins and toffee. Flavours of dark roasted malts, caramel, toffee and more of the raisins with hints of resin and spice hops. Slick and drying sensation and a mild warming mouthfeel. Full bodied and fairly excessive carbonation. Pretty good overall, sweetness and bitterness well balanced.

The beer poured a translucent reddish-brown coloured that shimmered nicely in front of a light. The head was tan, started out an 1" in thickness, but quickly died. The aroma was dark fruits, caramel malt, spices, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was caramel, yeast, weak hints of molasses, and nuts. I enjoyed it a great deal. Too bad only one comes in the box. -

330 ml stubby bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. ABV is 7%. Cloudy dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of brown malts, a little caramel and mild spices. The flavour has distinct notes of brown malts, caramel and brown kandij sugar, also mild spices. Moderate hops. Warming mouthfeel, very drinkable.
