Elle se présente vêtue d’une robe noire et coiffée d’une mousse brunâtre et persistante. Étonnamment mince en bouche, elle propose des notes de café noir et de chocolat. Pour en savourer toutes les subtilités, consommer à 11 °C

Purchased in Quebec City and came in a mixed 12-pack with 2 bottles each of their MB "classique" line. Oh wow... basically poured a head out of the bottle. After a minute or two, the liquid can be seen... and it is dark, real dark. The head is creamy and frothy, light brown, has good retention and full lacing. Beautiful roasted malt nose with notes of molasses, coffee and chocolate. The mouthfeel is not too thick, but nice and smooth (almost refreshing). The taste is what is expected from a good stout. Well-balanced between the burnt side of the malt, some light sweetness from the chocolat and some mild bitterness from the coffee and then, the hop that comes out in the finish. Probably the best of their "Classique" series.
