This buckwheat beer pours a clean honey-amber colour with a big fluffy off-white head that stays a while with lots of wavy lace. The whole glass is covered with bubbles of medium size. Grainy nose (buckwheat) with notes of alcohol, caramel and light fruits. The buckwheat is real and alive in the taste too. A few spices are found. Nice smooth mouthfeel that is medium-bodied. The brew becomes cloudy at the last pour and the hop show up in the taste. Not a bad beer, but not something I would go for generally.

Bottle: Poured a medium brown and hazy color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of light buckwheat malt is interesting but maybe a bit weak. Taste is also dominated by some dry buckwheat malt with some very subtle spices. No yeast characteristic or spice presence produce an average beer.
