Brewed with respect to the season, Atwater’s Winter Bock boasts the body and deep malt flavors matched with a warming, but well blended hint of alcohol. Extended aging reduces the sharpness and acidity typically apparent in strong ales.

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6
Pours clear mahogany with a nice frothy pale buff head. Aroma offers notes of cinnamon, allspice and fresh malt; not strong, but promising. Bolder flavor takes the spices up a couple notches, while the malt remains shyly in the background. Mouthfeel is average, fizz a little wimpy, but it leaves a nice malty and spicy finish. Frohe Weinacht!
