Rashaan Roland Kirk Stritch Stout, 10% ABV is our Biggest and most Luscious Beer! Made with Lager Yeast, this beer will surprise you how drinkable it is! Complex, Dark, Malty and Warm. No wonder why Stritch Stout won a Gold Medal in the Los Angeles International Beer Competition.

Rahsaan Roland Kirk 1936-1977 was a blind Jazz musician playing tenor sax, flute and other self-invented instruments simultaneously, interspersed with comic and political rantings. Kirk is probably most famous for his flute solo on the "Austin Powers" themesong.

Pours out in a dark brown, almost black colour with a small bubbly tan-coloured head. Sweet aroma of brown sugar, chocolate-sauce, soy and hot alcohol. Full-bodied with rich and dense notes of dark chocolate, burnt sugar, soy, peppery alcohol and burnt malts. Long hot and sweet finish of burnt malts, dark chocolate, caramel and alcohol. Flavorful but to unpolished and boozy for me.

One in a line of beers for jazz legends. This stout is thick and full-bodied. Tastes and smells like chocolate upfront. There are quick flashes of caramel, anise, and then finishes with a strong hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is soft and full. Drinks so smooth, which is so dangerous due to the high alcohol content. I will have to keep looking for those Charlie Parker and Lester Young beers.44444444444444. Great stout; glad I could share this with someone because it would have done me in on my own.
