500 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Pitch black colour, huge brown head. Strong roasty and dryish aroma, notes of coffee, wood and dark chocolate. The flavour is also distinctly roasty but not extreme, the mouthfeel is fairly soft. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee again. Long dry, roasty, woody and bitter aftertaste.

I dig both of these breweries, and this was STILL a better than expected treat. Pours a decadent oil slick color with dark chocolate head. Good legs. Aroma is faaantastic (9.5) of heavily roasted malts, dark bitter chocolate, earthy hops, some coffee. Flavor is a little bit more bitter, not bad. More bitter chocolate, very light smoke. Hoppy too. Body is obsenely smooth yet thick...surprising for the relatively lower abv for this beer. I'd get again in a heartbeat.
