    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

330 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Alvinne stemmed tulip a slight gushing unfiltered and cloudy dark brown-red coloured Stout with a sumptuous three fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is toasted malts, dark fruits, raisins, dark chocolate, coffee beans. The flavour is toasted malts, brown sugar and strong spicy, licorice. The mouthfeel is sparkling and very smooth. This full bodied Stout has a lingering spicy finish and a late warming effect. The alcohol, with a 10.5 % ABV, could be of course present, it is very well hidden. A charming Ale from the well known Alvinne brewery.
