This dunkel pours a deep brown color from a 50cl swing top bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet, touch of fruit. A medium bodied dunkel. The malts are fruity, caramel and semi sweet. The hops are earthy and spicy. There is a touch of tartness/sourness here as well. Nice balance. Good carbonation. There is a touch of spiciness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

500 ml swingtop bottle, bought in Bier Spezi Hamburg. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and bakery, some fruity hops too. Malty flavour with caramel and bready notes, not very sweet, spicy and fairly hoppy bitter finish. Dusty aftertaste. Okay.
