I had to buy an entire 6 pack to get this...........luckily I have swill loving friends who osmosized the remainig cans. Colour - clear copper. Aroma - sweet fruity notes. Mouthfeel - thin to medium. Flavour - sweet, malty. Overall - below average, better than all except the White.

This is supposed to be a Scottish ale, but too me this tastes like a less flavourful stronger alcohol version of their flagship IPA. Leaves a filmy feeling on the roof of the mouth. Has a mediceny aroma - reminds me of Buckleys. It does have a nice ruby colour but that's about it.

Limited release in cans or 6-pack in Quebec, now available at the LCBO. Pours a clean amber colour with and off-white head that is decent in size, has good retention and lacing with active carbonation. Dark malts aromas come out at first pour but then, it turns a little sweet, with mild caramel and notes of fruits (oranges) and some hints of hop. The taste is pretty malty (a little grainy) with some light bitterness from the hops. Unfortunately, I much preferred this one from the bottle as I could taste some smokiness to it (as opposed to the can poured in a Keith's glass to do this review). Not bad and do prefer this one over all of their other brews (except their Traditional Lager).
