Rated May 2010. Courtesy of HOPSHUNTER. Pours pure deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet with pear and peach fruity sweetness as well as a thin note of lemon citrus like acidity. The taste is similar with yeastiness and short lived lemon tartness and then heading toward sweet apples, pears, apricots and some peach. It ends with a slight drying tartness.

Aroma - fruit forward, with enough apricot/peach aroma to really distinguish it. Light clove and pepper notes also there.
Appearance - golden orange body, suprisingly small sized head 1/2", quick dissipation, scattered lacing
Taste - nice bitterness with a blend of grapefruits, doughy malts, light boiled vegetables, alcohol and candi sugar.
Palate - light bodied, carbonation seems to be spot on, nothing overpowering yet still prickly enough to notice.
Overall - not really impressed with this one, although it was nice. The star power behind this one didn’t really come thru in the beer unfortunately for me. -

Tasted on tap at Stone Bistro during the 08 RBSG. This Belgian Triple pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium to small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied triple. The malts are fruity and estery, with lots of apricots and peaches. The hops are floral and a touch bitter. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Touch of pepper at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours out in a clear golden colour with a small white foam. Sweet aroma of oranges, bubblegum and apricots with edgy notes of coriander and orange-peels. Medium to full-bodied with touches of sweet oranges and apricots with yeasty and spicy undertones. Sweet yeasty finish with some menthol sensations. I expected more from this.

An excellent beer from the fine people at Mikkeller (according to the script on the bottle), although it was brewed by Stone. It pours a hazy orange-gold from the bottle wikth a huge white foamy head. The aroma was quite spicy with some grassy malt and hops in the mix. The flavour was very well balanced with a little sweetness up front a mild bitter finish. Does not come across as an 8.7% beer.

The beer poured a hazy translucent gold colour with a thin white head, and detectable yeast. The aroma was combination of yeast, spice, and bready malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was malt, some citrus and licorice tones, and some leather. I was expecting a WHOLE lot more. -

a zesty, spicy collaberation, full of ripe fruit flavors and a spicy, slightly hopped nose. good stuff...but then again i expect no less from any of these 3 brewers.

Draught@EBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, grass, mild alcohol and some mild fruityness. Flavour is peach, mild alcohol and quite glueish sweet.

8.7% ABV. This collaborative tripel poured with a hazy orange golden colored body topped off with a small slightly off white head that left light lace down the sides of the glass. Aroma is belgian yeast, sour fruit and some sweet malts. The mouthfeel is medium bodied rich and perfectly carbonated. Flavor is candi sugar, some light grassy hops, bubblegum, banana and bitter peach.
