    12oz bottle -

I don't recall how I got this, but it was probably someone from Wisconsin. Caramel malts and dark fruits dominate the aroma. Seems to be lacking any peaty notes in the aroma, but shows up in the flavor. Raisin-y, dried cherries, with medium sweetness and a molasses-like bitterness. Carbonation seems a bit on the lower side. Nice beer.

I've wanted a bottle of this for some time now, and my karma trading brother heybeerman graciously sent me a bottle with good intent. Sampled a while after the Lake Louie offering and was heads and tails above it in every aspect. Woody with rich toffee, mixed berries, burnt toast, nuts and a deep peat earthiness. A mild floral bouquet of hops added to it's depth as well. Great offering.

Shocked that I have never reviewed this, drank it so often I just assumed I had. A very bocky scotch, malt forward but with hints of peat and dark fruit, not a huge fan of the style but I like this one for sure.

Sampled from bottle. Thanks to Phishpond. Pours clear dark copper with a creamy tan head and nice lacing. Rich, sweet toasted bread aroma. On the sweet side of balanced. Lots of caramel and toasted malt. Medium-full body and gently carbonated. Worth trying!

Another Wisconsin gem, the aptly named Sticky McDoogle from pfoxyjohn. This one pours a clear deep amber with a nice fluffy white head and plenty of lacing. Big, sweet malty aroma with lots of toffee and caramel. Taste is sweet but not overly so with a big malty base, slightly buttery and just enough hops to barely cut the sweetness. Good one from Brother John - thanks.

Pours a dark copper colour with a full off white creamy top. Aroma of soft scotch whiskey, bread and almonds. Taste is nutty, sweet with light roasted malts and whiskey flavors.
