Like the love-child of Tony Danza and Pensri Poomchoosri, Thai-ny Danza is a smooth and flavorful treat. Inspired by the cuisine of Thailand and the boyish smile of Tony, we teamed up with the fresh and frisky brewers of Akasha Brewing Company just down the road on Market to create a pepper beer like no other. We used a light base of Pale and Wheat malt with a dash of Acidulated for a body that is at once rich and crisp and added 06300 hops for a subtle coconut character that comes through cleanly in the aroma. We added both to the kettle and to the fermenter a total of 5 lbs of Thai Bird Chilis along with Kefir lime leaves and fresh lime zest and juice. The result is an aroma of peppers and lime that gives way to citrusy, juicy flavor with a hint of heat that builds as you enjoy your pint. Light, crisp and subtly spicy, we think Thai-ny Danza may just be more charming with every sip. Hold it closer and watch the headlights on the highway.

Pours clear golden with a thin ivory head. Malty aroma has a subtle zing to it.flavor is malty, fruity and - WHOA, some pepper in there, enough to get your attention but not overpowering. Mouthfeel has average busy but very lively fizz. Hold it closer!
