Forced draught. Poured a clear pale amber colored beer with a one finger white creamy foamy head that had a mid-sized retention. Soft carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is slight malty, notes of spices and caramel. The flavour is sweet caramel malts, spicy, licorice, cinnamom, coriander. The mouthfeel is quite crispy. This medium bodied beer has a short sweetish finish. Not the best among the Christmas beers.

a nicely spiced holiday brew. it was not overpowered by the belgian yeast, or the spices, which was nice. better than the usual, but not great. recomended.

Bottled, Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, spices, sweet malts in a pleasant mix. Flavour is the same along with some rather grassy hops in it. Pleasantly balanced.
