Brewed for the 950th Anniversary of the abbey, 950 Cuvee is a blonde ale "quadruple hopped" for added spicy/grassiness with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Clear golden yellow, off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Nice barley aroma and deep barley taste. Floral and grass notes, realy nice beer. Little sweet. (Velp 201602)

The beer pours out a slightly hazy dark golden body with a fluffly white cap. Aroma has some bubblegum, light bread dough, fruit juice and mineral water. Flavor provides light-medium sweetness, banana-like flavors, plain candi-sugars and a long fruity finish. A rather subtle Belgian, and I don't get the "quadruple hops". It tastes like a hefe combined with a Belgian ale. Not bad.
