Sitting on East Green in the coastal town of Southwold Suffolk, stands we the UK's newest, and we believe, most energy efficient brewery. Years of brewing expertise, combined with state-of-the-art equipment, a lightweight bottle and ingredients locally sourced from the East of England means we can create this special light golden beer. Enjoy subtle citrus and grassy hop aromas for a dry and refreshing beer with a well balanced bitterness. With minimum carbon impact and a tiny amount of offsetting we are proud to brew for you the UK's first Carbon Neutral Beer.

Bottle (from Citymarket, Pori, 4.3%). Deep goldencolour with mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grains, yeast, some flowery hops and mild seaweedy notes. Flavour is flowery hops, yeast and some strange grainy notes kicking in as well. Quite seaweedy touch in the flavour too. Not very pleasant. 4 4 4 4 4

500 ml bottle, now available in Norway. ABV is 4.3%. Crystal clear golden colour, big to moderate head. Moderate aroma of grain and citrussy hops. The flavour is dry and refreshing with distinct and pleasant notes of citrussy Boadicea hops throughout, but the malts do not come up front. Moderate but nice bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. All the "environment friendly" hype aside, this is a fairly decent refreshment ale, not exceptional but nice enough.
