La Patente displays a bold bitterness yet balanced by a firm dose of specialty malts. This ale is brewed at lager temperature, making it rich and elegant. The higher alcohol content is perfectly hidden by this cold fermentation. The malts offer a discrete hint of caramel and candy. She’s a German interpretation of an English Barleywine. This hybrid ale is providing best of both worlds offering ale and lager characteristics while being bitter and also malty.
