Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
The aroma is nice and sweet with some maltiness coming through with maybe some slight hoppiness. The appearance is a nice amber to rustic-orange in color with a head on top that is minimal but discipates to a light lacing that is off-white in color and sticks to the glass and remains throughtout consumption. The mouthfeel is smooth and not bad with decent malty complexity as well as balance with a palate that is smooth and wet-like and pretty good. The flavor is nice with some malt character with some very slight caramel coming through and is a bit floral and hoppy as well as hay-like and straw-like with an aftertaste that is nice and pleasant with some hoppiness and is not bad with a finish that is crisp and smooth and more complex than I expected. Overall, decent brew here and is easy to drink but nothing to write home about; is this brew really a Kolsch style?

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head, that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus straw, light dough, and a few different hops. Taste of citrus fruit, toasted malts, and faint hops. Sweet, with balanced bitterness. This was a decent kolsch. I had to rate one Abita before I can’t find them anymore.
