Drageblod er både over- og undergæret. Den belgiske overgær giver den syrlige snert og sødmen, mens undergæren giver en mere tør, humlet øl. Den anvendte frugtsaft sammen med de mørke malte giver en flot orange-rød farve til øllet. Sammen med det forholdsvis høje alkohol-indhold er der basis for at øllen vil modne oog mildnes i smagen med tiden.

600 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 7%. Dark brown to mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of ripe red fruits, caramel and bakery. The flavour is fruity and medium sweet, with plenty of malts and caramel, decent hops in the finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottled@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grains as well as some mild yeasty notes. Flavour is being quite much the same. Way too grainy to really be good.
