Stout sans café avec houblons Nugget et Mount Hood. Plutôt ronde et riche, bien balancée par l'amertume des malts torréfiés rappelant le café et les biscuits bien grillés. Notes marquées de chocolats et de noisettes avec de légères notes de caramel.

After having the coffee version of this stout, now having this one. The big difference is we do not get the coffee in the aromas. Same dark brown colour with copper highlights, bubbly mocha-coloured head and light soapy lacing. Roasted malts we get in the nose with some mild dark fruits and molasses. Wet mouthfeel again with a touch of dryness, tartiness that eventually builds. Roasted malt flavours, watery, not intense, nor thick. An easy-drinking, kind of refreshing standard stout that is fine.
