Surprise!

Black as midnight, with a tad copper highlights, a mocha-coloured head, average retention and some mild lacing. Big chocolate, cacao aromas with the roasted malt base, hints of alcohol, coconut and Bourbon. The taste is milder than the nose with some good bitterness, a warming mouthfeel and not really thick, drying in the end. Cocoa powder, and just really lots of chocolate notes. A little nutty, buttery. A very nice smelling dessert Imperial Stout with an easier, more chocolate Impy normal stout in the mouth.
