- - - - - Brewed with cacao and coffee from our friends, Aylmer's own Brown Bag Coffee Roasters, this stout is well balanced avec le cacao qui lui amène une belle ronde with a Brazilian and Columbian coffee blend giving it hazelnut and milk chocolate notes and cacao nibs rounding things up.

Dark brown colour with copper highlights. The head is big, frothy-creamy, mocha-coloured with very long retention and some nice creamy-foamy lacing. Big wheat nose at first with banana notes. Then, the bitter coffee powder shows up and some decent nuttiness. The roasted malt is base in both, aromas and flavours. Some chocolate malts in the taste with the cacao, but the bitter grinded coffee cuts the sweetness. Some well blended grassy hops in the finish, lingers some nice dryness. Expecting a very sweet stout, but no - breakfast for coffee. Bitterness. A nice strong drink to keep me up a few hours.
