Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
Poured into a snifter. Clear dark amber color with a small white head that leaves some impressive lacing on the sides of the glass. Aromas of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, dank, earthy hops and sweet malt. Tastes as it smells, with the tropical fruits leading the flavors with the dank hops finishing and lingering long after the beer has headed south into my stomach. Mouthfeel is full and somewhat oily and coats the palate with hoppy goodness. The pairing of Simcoe and Mosaic hops is magical. 18th Street is slowly turning into my favorite local brewery. A real treat.
