pours a bright straw yellow body, with a white head with decent carbonation. The aroma is strong corn with mild wet grass. The taste was very crisp and refreshing, get the malts and mildly bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel was very light, but enough there to let it linger.

hey wait this is terrible, even with the gold foil...... pours with hardly a head. Aroma is very sweet with a big honey smell and taste. Also notes of urinal cake as well. A stale sweetness, mismatched, sort of savory. Nothing to savor. Med bodied. it fits the 'malt liquor' bill. Hey im still drinkin it

Canned. Pale yellow colour, minor head. Aroma of cooked vegetables, hay and puke. Flavour is rubbery malts. This is the most horrible beer so far today. Stay away. Salty aftertaste.

A very nice helles style brew from what was Austria until WW1. Malty and a honey like first and finish. For .6 US, this is worth drinking. Freeze it, and pour out the unfrozen home made eisbier!! Not the best but for the price a great every day lager.

clear and pale golden colour with little foam and no lace, paperboard-like aroma, sweet and slightly tart with a dry carton-like finish and a thin malt body - bad

An odd little stubbie green bottle, that I picked up from a German-centric deli/grocery store in North San Diego county..., I naturally assumed that this was just yet another German pilsener -- yet another member of the Anonymous Tasting Euro-Green Bottle Club, so to speak.

But upon further research, this is from Tirolia -- the hazy region of extreme Northern Italy, that has more in common with Austria than the more temperate regions due South. As such, it's neither here-nor-there background tends to come across to it's neither-here-and-there flavor profile.

Dull to look at. Nothing to smell. Flavor? Yeah, it's there. And not all that unrefreshing, to be honest. A bit too sweet for my tastes, but not horrible. Ditto for the mouthfeel. "Enough with the Nutrasweet/Sweet-n'-Low profile, eh?"

Drinkable? Yes -- albeit only grudgingly.

Reminds me of Austria's national brand Gosser -- yes, for better, *and* worse. That about sums up this decidely non-Italian Italian beer, IMO....

"Use the Forst, Luke!"...? Um, no thanks!
