Aroma of roast malts, strong coffee and dark chocolate / cocoa, a hint of vanilla. Rich mouthfeel. The flavour is not too sweet (despite the name), and has the same elements as the aroma, with the vanilla a bit more pronounced now. Very good beer. |

Tastes more like a "Belgian IPA" than an English ESB. Quite good anyway. |

The flavour is also malty, but not as sweet as I feared. Again notes of honey, cinnamon and ginger, but they are fairly well balanced. Notes of dark dried fruits too, and some caramel. Moderate hops. Pleasant to drink. |

Not my favourite this one. |
