1826 | Mill Street Vanilla Porter | Canada | Porter | 4.2
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 550ml draught
5.1% ABV
I tried this beer on tap on February 10, 2011 at "C'est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark blackish-brown, with clear edges, and creamy off-white head that lasted throughout. The aroma was roasted malt, vanilla, and some weak hops. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, roasted malt, and vanilla. Sweet, but not sickingly so. Very refreshing and drinkable. |
