Mildly hazy, golden-orange colour with a bubbly cap, light retention and a tad ring. Orange-lemon peel with some citrus juice base and some tropical fruits. The sweetness is there, but there is a nice light spiciness that blends well with some nice tangerine notes. Same for the flavours. Quite easy-drinking, juicy, decent citrus zest with some mild tropical fruitiness.

Fairly clean golden colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, average retention and some light bubbly lacing. Some sweetness does come out of the nose, with a touch of diacetyl, caramel malt sweetness with buttery popcorn. Some hints of hops do help out. The taste shows caramel malt base with the light grassy hops. A little better, but not an APA I would have again.

Lightly unfiltered golden colour with an orange hue. The head is frothy, bubbly, mildly creamy, off-white with good stay and some foamy lacing streaks. Caramel malt aromas with some pink grapefruit notes. The flavours shows the caramel malt base but the grassy hops kick it up, creating some big bitterness and dryness in the end. Not a bad West Coast IPA with a blend of caramel malts and grassiness from the hops.

Hazy, a little unfiltered with particles, golden-orange colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, decent stay and some soapy lacing spots. Sweet-fruity aromas with pineapples, lychee, wild farm scents and oranges. Less sweet in the taste, with some orange juices and quite dry for an Impy IPA. Not heavy in mouthfeel, and goes down quite nicely. Well-brewed.

Can that pours a cloudy golden colour with a creamy-frothy warm head, very good retention and leaving creamy-foamy lacing. Grassy, herbal hop aromas with some hints of pineapple, oats with the citrus notes. The citrus lemon zest and light orange juices shine more in the flavours, resulting in a dryer, bitter finish... but still juicy. A refreshing NEIPA for those who prefer a touch dryer, bitter, zestier than the juicy-oat sweetness.

The taste shows the same with the balanced sweet and mild hops drying, cutting the sweet edge. A decent Helles, easy-drinking brew.

Clean golden-amber colour with hardly any carbonation, but the light-beige, frothy head is decent with average stay and mild lacing. Cereal grain and caramel malt base with some nicely blended hops. These show up beautifully in the taste, giving a Pilsner-like spicier hop flavour. The grains lightly linger, not too sweet like some of this style. Very well-brewed, great session North American ESB.

Very slightly hazed, bright light-yellow colour with beautiful tiny bubble slow carbonation. The head is white, decent lasting with a few lacing spots and a nice coat over the brew. Fruity nose with some fresh pears, lemon zest, mild Belgian yeast and sugars. The pear and some apple are in the taste with some solid bitterness, hoppiness with a dry finish. Hints of spices and sugars are quite well-hidden. A very nice fruity, spicy, hoppy Belgian Blonde.

The aromas are well-blended, milder, with the piney notes over caramel malts, hints of citrus and residual sugar. The taste shows hoppiness, grassiness like the West Coast style it is, but not a hop bomb. Being an Imperial IPA, again well-blended pine, caramel and decent building dryness in the finish. Citrus zest lingers, and a tad tartiness. Such an easy-drinking, Double West Coast IPA.

Lightly hazy with a light bright-yellow colour, a bubbly white cap, average stay and some decent foamy lacing patches. Lemon zest nose with some tangerine notes and hints of bubble gum. Some fruity-sweetness does continues in the taste with tropical fruits, peach and good hops to create a mild dry finish. You get the touch of mildness that is given from the 4% ABV. A nice light APA.

When I started rating beers over 20 years ago, the Bistro L'Autre Oeil was a place I spent lots of time. Fairly clean brown colour with amber highlights. The head is frothy-creamy, warm-beige coloured with good retention and some foamy streak lacing left. Roasted malt base aromas with some caramel malts and hints of vanilla. The taste shows nuttiness blending with the two malts and a big enough grassy finish. Quite a nice building dryness in the finish. A smooth mouthfeel going down. A nice brown ale that is quite hopped offering big dryness. Félicition pour 25 ans, et bonne continution.

Lightly hazy, golden colour with a fluffy-frothy white cap, good retention and some nice foamy streaky lacing. A nice blend of aromas with wheat-banana, some mild spices and herbal grassy hops. Refreshing, wet mouthfeel with a slow drying finish. The taste has the mineral feel with a touch of wheat, but more grassiness, hoppiness. This is quite a nice Belgian Blonde Ale with not as much sugar, sweetness. Well-brewed !

Brown colour with ruby highlights. The head is huge, frothy light mocha-coloured with good stay and some soapy lacing left. The mouthfeel is very smooth, not too thick, slightly silky with some good hops in the finish to dry things out. Roasted malt aromas with some oat softness, and a little grassiness. The taste blends well all of these as well. An easy-drinking oatmeal stout.

Quite a dark brown colour, almost black with a tad copper-ruby highlights. Warm mocha-coloured frothy head with decent retention and just a light bubbly ring is left. Very peppery nose over the roasted, chocolate malts with a touch of smokiness. The mouthfeel is thinner than expected. Some dryness appears in the finish. Roasted barley base with the hot peppers lingering with a building heat. Quite interesting on a cold night

These wild, tropical fruits are stronger in the taste. The mouthfeel has a nice balanced dryness, that continues building. Some bitterness, like citrus zest, but not overly. A pretty good fruity APA.

A slight haze, golden colour with a big frothy, creamyish white cap, good retention and thick foamy lacing left. The 90% of hops are Simcoe in here, giving a nice blend of citrus aromas with a piney touch, tropical fruits, and even get hints of honey. Enough bitterness for an APA, with lots of citrus zest, grapefruit notes, quite resinous overall. A pretty nice, dry, bitter American Pale ale with the Simcoe shinning.

Clean, very light golden colour with a frothy white head, soapy like the lacing it leaves, and pretty good retention. Herbal aromas with apple notes. The hops are quite present in the taste with some bitterness, grassiness. Thin enough in the mouthfeel with some building dryness in the end. Not the style I remember with corn, but a very hoppy light lager - if this is your thing.

Clean reddish colour with a pinkish-white fizzy head dissipating quickly, with no lacing left. Fresh raspberry aromas with some decent sourness. Flavours of raspberries, light tart and mild sourness. The mouthfeel is fairly thin, but quite nice for the style. A slight haze comes out near the last pour. All-around, it is a very nice raspberry, low alcohol brew with a decent sour touch.

Clean, rich golden colour with a frothy, warm-white head, decent retention and light lacing. Beautiful fresh pine-herbal with the caramel malt base. This continues into the taste with a nice, light drying finish. So, refreshing, crisp, going down well. Quite a nice, easy-drinking, herbally fresh West Coast IPA that gets me good for the style.

Can from the brewery (thanks cousin Chris). Hazy bright yellow colour with a big frothy, soapy lightly off-white head, great retention and full lacing. Mild hoppy nose of fresh grass, light Belgian ale yeast. The taste has the same light notes with decent dryness, tartness in the finish. A pretty nice India Pale Lager with good hoppiness. A nice first try for this brewery... that is so close by.

The taste has the same hoppiness, dryness with the grassy notes. Bitter, but not too much. Quite a nicely balanced, easy-drinking West Coast IPA.

Citrus nose with mostly orange juice, and the hops that also give a grassy feel. The taste shows the citrus juices, but here we get their zest (oranges, lemons) as well, creating some decent dryness that is balanced. Alcohol is well-hidden, with a nicely blended bitterness. The hops work well in here, giving a bit of everything, but going down smoothly.

The citrusy hops are somewhat hidden in here, showing a little zest giving some bitterness. Orange juice in the noise does show up late. I find this is a nice blend of the West and East Coast IPAs.
