stouts are not my fav. Beer pours a very black color with a nice large off-white to tan head, with a nice aroma of coffee and chocolate. The taste is like any other Guinness that of coffee and chocloate.

another flash back to collage days, drink this only if u can't afford any other beer. make sure it's ice cold. It pours light pea yellow with no head, tastes like metal (what taste there is) and has a stale aroma. only drink this if your desperate.

boy did i drink some awful beer in collage. If there is a worse beer on the planet I don't want to drink it. I can see why this beer is rated as worst beer by this site. One must wonder why they continue to make this beer. pours very watery pea yellow with virtually no head, tastes (what there is to taste) is metalic with some sort of awful aftertaste that you can't define. Avoid this beer at all costs.

I can't believe this one is not hire on the worst list. this beer is so watery it seems like a NA beer. Must sever this "beer" ice cold. pours a very watery pea yellow and has virtually no taste. wish they would invest some money into making this beer drinkable and then they wouldn't have to advertise the hell out of it.

pours a reddish color with a nice white head that doesn't hang around for long. a nice aroma of caramel and hops. I found that taste not bad but expected more from an Octoberfest beer.

purchased as part of sampler pack (otherwise would be ticked about buying it.) pours a nice drark brown in color with virtually no head to speak of. The aroma of cloves was nice but also seemed like there was a hard alcholal aroma as well which really took away from the cloves. Flavors of cinnamon and some clove, rather muddled, and confusing. this beer didn't do it for me, trade others from the pack to a friend.

pours a nice "beer" yellow with a really nice large white head, that hangs around for a while. not much of an aroma what little there is smells like bread. has a slightly sweet taste and is really smooth but just no real bang. It's ok but not great.

pours a golden yellow with a small quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is week but consists of malts and caramel. The taste is watery and grainy, and is to sweet, but has a bitter aftertaste. This is the worst of beers from Spoetzl that I've had.

pours nice pale yellow, with a nice head that disappears quickly. Has a nice aroma of hops and grains. This beer is great on beach under the Caribbean sun then it is when brought into the states. It is better ice cold and with a slice of lime. Has a nice clean crips taste. my rating is an average of Caribbean and here.

pours a nice golden color, with a small head. Had this beer in the Caribbean while sitting on the beach. Beer was servied with a wedge of lime which i used. Aroma of hops arose from the glass. Beer was ice cold and was really refreshing but with a little higher ABV then normal Caribbean beers but you couldn't taste it. This is good beach beer!

pours a nice dark amber (unusual for Caribbean) with nice off white head. A nice aroma of bread and caramel arose from the glass. The flavor was malty, sweet, caramel, and is bready with an aftertaste that is malty with a finish that is refreshing and fairly smooth. If i could have only 1 beach beer this would be it.

Wasn't as good as blackbeards Ale. Pours a light yellow with a small head. The beer is week and watery tasting for a lager. Aroma isn't much to speak of either. Not sure how this is brewed by the same people how make Blackbeard's ale.

Pours a nice orangish color with a nice white head. Has a wonderful armoa. This has a typical IPA taste with nice hop flavor with a hint of caramel.

The beer pours ruby red with deep oranges. It has a dense, foamy off-white head with an excellent retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is caramel and bready malts. Some smokeyness and a light floral hoppiness as well. The taste is quite sweet as is the style. Lots of roasted toffee characters along with the caramel sweetness. Smokeyness and floral hops hit in the middle. The finish consists of light hop flavors with lingering sweetness. However, I did find the beer a bit watery but overall not to bad.

Beer has a nice caramel toffee taste that is nicely carbonated. Nice drinkability. I believe this to be the original (alias) name for what they are now calling Columbus Scottish Ale.

stouts are not my favorite style. This one pours very very dark, with a nice tanish head with very little carbonation. Aroma is sweet coffee and rich malts with slight bitter hopiness. Taste is creamy rich coffee malted with a hops afterwards. This beer always fills me up.

Like the smell, the initial taste has sweet flavors of corn; hints of rice and other grains are noticeable towards the finish. No hops are present in the taste. Mixes well with food.

Pours a very pale yellow color with a white foamy head that goes away rather quickly. Minimal lacing on the glass. Aroma is macro grain, possibly corn and minimal malt. Taste is much of the same with a bitter finish. Mouthfeel is very thin. Overall it is not a horrible macro beer and better than the ones south of the border.
