1751 | Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale | United States | Blonde Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Tried this after a several scuba dives in sunny FL. The beer pours a slightly richer golden color than your average macro lager does. The head was big and white and bubbly and left some decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is mild hops with a husky grainy sweetness to it. The taste is smooth and light with a decent and very mild hop bitterness. The hops lend just a very slight citric flavor and balance the sweetness quite well. The mouthfeel is crisp and light and very refreshing. This beer is my least favorite brew from Yuengling and for the price it is not bad at all and it is very easy to drink. |

1752 | Alaskan Brewing Amber | United States | Altbier | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pours a fairly clear ruby amber with an off-white head which dissipates quickly into a spotty lacing. The aroma is made up of primarily sweet malts. Hard to pull anything else anything else. The taste is a semi-sweet caramel malt flavor is prevalent, some earthy notes, a subtle herbal and hop finish. The beer has a nice mouthfeel. Very fulfilling without being thick. Carbonation is perfect, with a really pleasant bite. A bit dry at the finish. Overall a solid offering from Alaskan. |

1753 | Samuel Adams Black & Brew | United States | Coffee Stout | 2.5
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 First I don't like coffee and 2nd Stouts are one of my least favorite styles of beers. I'm glad this beer came in a sampler pack. I put off trying this beer for a while. Pours dark chestnut. A decent sized mocha head and left appreciable lacing. The aroma is primarily coffee with perhaps a hint of chocolate. The flavor matches the smell, though I find it to be very one-dimensional. |

1754 | New Holland Sun Dog Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Pours a beautiful dark reddish amber with a nice fluffy off-white head. There is a decent amount of retention and some very nice lacing. It has a Mildly sweet malt, some caramel aroma. The dominant aroma is mildly toasted bready malt. The taste is not sweet at all. Bready malt up front with a slightly soapy bitterness in the finish. There is a very mild fruity note in the background, reminds me of cherry. The mouthfeel is that of a medium body with a high amount of carbonation and a slightly dry finish. |

1755 | Chang Beer | Thailand | Pale Lager | 2.8
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Pours a crystal clear medium yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a ok white head that reduces to a thin small patch and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. The aroma of this beer is one dimensional, with that dimension being malts. There is something lightly floral in the aroma as well. Like the aroma, the flavor of this beer is on the lighter side and slightly one dimensional. The beer is sweet but very malty. The mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate to high amounts of carbonation. On the slightly thin/watery side but fizzy. Overall not a bad beer. |

1758 | Pangaea Lilja's Heifer Weizen | United States | Hefeweizen | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pours a hazy pale yellow with a frothy white head with great retention. The aroma is banana, bubble gum and floral, actually the aroma is so intense that those are the only scents I can pick out. The taste is that of creamy banana pudding flavor upfront, then a sharp lemon zest, good wheat flavor, and slight bitterness round out the finish. The mouthfeel is buttery and low carbonation. The beer finishes off clean. |

1759 | Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot Ale | United States | Brown Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 Pours a dark-brown/amber with a nice mocha colored head. The aroma is sweet malts, gingerbread, dark chocolate, with a earthy hop background that works surprisingly well. The taste goes big on the malt, more gingerbread, cinnamon, toasted pumpernickel bread. Grassy hops show up in the middle and finish. Very tasty, but is a little on the watery side, and slightly under-carbonated. The alcohol isn't hidden as well as it could be either. |

1761 | Strongbow Cider | United Kingdom | Cider | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 pours a nice golden yellow with virtually no head, but is nicely carbonated. A nice apple aroma rises from the glass and tastes almost like (surprise surprise) applejuice. It's nice and refreshing and mixes well with food, a nice change of pace once in a while. I usually only drink ciders in the spring/summer. |

1766 | Unibroue Maudite | Canada | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pours a very dark brown amber and super hazy as well. A large off-white colored head as well. The aroma is bitter like a lot of grassy hops and other herbal notes. A caramel candy sweetness. Spices. The taste is big fruity bitterness up front. A bit of sharp citrus and a little bit of darker fruits like figs and plums. A smooth bit of caramel in there. A strange blend of spices and pepper. Complex and blends well but no big stand out flavors. It has a high carbonation but it works well for this beer and it goes down easy for an 8% beer. |

The taste is a nice layer of thick sweet malt up front accompanied by some earthy notes with some caramel and light spice towards the middle. It’s sweet, but not too sweet with just enough bitterness from the hops towards the back-end to take the edge off. The finish is full of thick caramel malt flavor. It has a full bodied feel with a sticky syrup quality and soft carbonation. |

1769 | Little Kings Cream Ale | United States | Cream Ale | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Poured out a clear, golden orange color with no head. It left no lacing, either. It's aroma was that of grains, caramel and an unusual floral presence. Not your typical hoppy floral notes. The taste was not quite horriable with a sweet grains and caramel. A light bodied ale with a dry finish. Hint serve ice cold, it's cheap and takes me back to my collage days. |

|
1775 | Penn Allegheny Pale Ale | United States | IPA | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 The pale ale is a coppery amber in color, with a nice white head. A steady stream of bubbles provides sustenance for the head. The aroma is grainy and hoppy but not abundantly so. An interesting divergence from Penn's German line-up. The taste is malty, with caramel later on, the ale is slow to generate a hop profile. When it does emerge, the hops have an earthy citrus flavor that doesn't stand out. The mouthfeel is smooth, more malty than hoppy. |
