1727 Alaskan Brewing Stout United States Oatmeal Stout 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours very black, thicker pour and a very thick dark tan head. The aroma is of roasted grains, dark malts. The taste has a full body with no bitter aftertaste weetness. Almost as thick and chewy as an imperial stout. Stout beers are my leaste favorate style but this isn't that bad of a beer.

1728 Samuel Adams Winter Lager United States Bock 3.4

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours a copper amberish color with a nice foamy/fluffy light brown head that stays around for a while, fading into a thick everlasting film. The aroma is that of bread and grain on the front of the nose. Light backing of orange citrus and an herbal hop note. The taste is that of bitter orange peel comes through on the palate and cinnamon becomes noticeable as well. The mouth feel is full bodied with a thick texture and lively carbonation.

1729 Samuel Adams Holiday Porter United States Porter 3.2

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

pours a deep red to almost black, with a ok white head the dissipates in under 5 minutes. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is of caramel malts and of nutmeg spice. The taste is sweet malts at first with a taste of spice and banana maybe slightly. Also a nice bitterness that hangs around a while. The beer has a moderate carbonation and smooth finish.

1730 Samuel Adams Alpine Spring United States Kellerbier 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a slightly hazy golden straw colour, finger of fine bubbled head with some retention and nice sporadic lacing. The aroma is a light lemon citrus notes, bready malts, hints of caramel and honey, and some musty grass notes. The taste is much like the aroma with the faint floral citrus hops coming through alongside a heavily breaded malt, with a touch of musty grass notes on the finish.

1731 Saranac Black Forest United States Schwarzbier 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Poured an almost black in color and produces a medium tan creamy head that dissipated slowly leaving good head lacing. Carbonation was moderate. The armoa was that of moderate roasted grain and caramel with light hints of dark cherry, dried fruit and spices. The taste is somewhat different from the aroma. Heavy dark malts with a light overlay roasted espresso and caramel. The fruits and spices that I noticed in the smell test seemed absent. The mouthfeel was that of a medium body with a somewhat thick, syrupy texture, moderate carbonation and good body lacing that dissipated slowly. The initial flavor was a moderate roasted sweetness accompanied by a hint of bitterness with a lightly bitter finish that lasted for a moderate length of time, leaving a slightly astringent aftertaste.

1732 Saranac Pumpkin Ale United States Spiced Beer 2.5

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

Pours an orangish brown body and a nice off-white head, nice retention and lacing are bothy good. The aroma pairs understated sweet malt with a lot of spices, with nutmeg being the predominant one. I've said this about every pumpkin beer I've tried, there's too much nutmeg. Nutmeg is a powerful spice, so you don't need to use much. In addition to the nutmeg comes a hint of cinnamon, and probably a few other spices that I cannot pick out. Also like all other pumpkin beers I can't stand the taste. I hate anything flavored pumpkin!!!!! Pumpkin's should be used for decoration only not for eating/drinking.

1733 Saranac IPA United States IPA 3.7

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours a crystal clear hay color with just the slightest amber hue and ample carbonation bubbles, with a pure white head that is quite frothy and lingers nicely, leaves a nice amount of lacing. The aroma has a nice scent, but not terribly strong, with a nice citrus hop note but that's about all that is discernible. The taste is nice but it begins with kind of what I would equate to a pilsner taste then the citrus hops kick in, just slight hop notes.. The mouthfeel has a strong carbonation tingle up front, smooth and kind of creamy in the finish, leaves the mouth just slightly dry.

1734 Rheingold Beer United States Pale Lager 2.9

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Pours a crystal clear yellow color with a fizzy white head, The aroma is grainy malt, corn and light alcohol. A bit fruity for a lagerbier. Does not smell very appetizing. The taste is very light and watery. The body is so light and crisp, it makes it pretty bearable really. The fruitiness is very mild on the flavor but still noticeable. Not bad, I might even buy it again...for things like football games with the guys.

1735 Magic Hat Hi.P.A. United States IPA 3.6

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

poured a nice golden color with a nce white heat that stuck around for a while, leaving a nice lacing. The aroma consisted of hops but had a nice sweet fruity undertone. The taste doesn't quite live up to the aroma with the over powering hops and with citrus and pine and the bitterness is only slightly tempered by the malt.

1736 Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale United States Scottish Ale 3.7

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

poured a dark brown in color with maroon highlights and a thin head that left very little lacing sticking to the glass. The aroma is that of dark fruits on the first whiff with a little char smoke character and hints of citrus. The taste was that of dark fruits such as plum and raisins alondside citrus accents, mild smokey notes, slight hoppy bitterness, and a touch of malty sweetness. The beer was medium in body with a low amount of carbonation which had a dark fruity, mild smokey, citrusy, bitter, and sticky finish.

1737 Sierra Nevada Summerfest United States Lager 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours a straw golden yellow with a nice creamy head, moderate retention with some surface memory and lacing. The aroma is a bit grainy, but is also fresh with a lager scent, touch of grassy and citric hops. The tastes is soft, pale malt sense, small touches of citrus, lager bitterness with a return to a bready touch. It has a medium to medium/light body, medium carbonation, with a nice lingering bitterness and a crisp finish. It's a good quality offering…

1738 Lagunitas Undercover Investigation Shut-Down Ale United States Strong Ale 3.6

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours an almost clear red-orange with a nice frothy off-white head which slowly fades down leaving behind some lace. The aroma is full of rich sweet caramel malts with some residual sugar, citrus and floral hops, and a bit of booze. The taste starts off with some rich sweet toasted malts with a bit of dark fruit sweetness and some brown sugar alongside some citrus hops. Through the middle, a big kick of citrus and pine hops come through with some strong bitterness. The finish is a mix of strong hop flavor, bitterness, and sweet malt with a bit of booze. It's moderately carbonated and feels smooth with a sweet, hoppy, and bitter finish. Over all a drinkable, really nice strong Ale with a big hop profile and is well balanced.

1739 Amstel Light Netherlands Light / Lite Lager 3.0

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

A nice beer for a lite. Pleasent hops taste, nice color. It purs with a weak head on my glass. Low carbonation. It has a nice palate for being a light beer. Better by far than most american light beers.

1740 Sierra Nevada Tumbler United States Brown Ale 3.8

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours a amber, copper, brown in color with a nice khaki colored head. The aroma is caramel, milk chocolate and bread, overall a really great aroma. The taste is much like the aroma consisting of chocolate, bitterness, subtle roastiness, caramel, sweetness that's rich and has a nice carbonation. Quite a nice brown ale, it has wonderful chocolate taste without the coffee harshness.

1741 Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA United States IPA 3.9

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours a orangish gold color and a pleasant dirty white head that gradually fades to a thin ring around the glass. The aroma is of peach, pine resin, grapefruit rind, and balanced by light, sweet malts. The taste of the beer is similar to the aroma which is grapefruit mingles with pine resin and plenty of bitterness, with mild, cracker-like malt flavors arising as this washes across the back of the palate. The beer is medium-bodied with fairly minimal carbonation, which finishes quite dry due to numerous hops and residual sugars.

1742 Milwaukees Best Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.0

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

The only thing best about this "beer" is that it's the best of the worst. This beer smells like skunk and tastes like skunk pee. Avoid this "beer" at all costs! Another example of Macro brewers at work.

1743 Pabst Blue Ribbon Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.7

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3

This is better then Coors, Bud, Busch etc. This and reg PBR are my cheap fishing with the guys beer. Its light and refreshing, easy on wallet and is drinkable. I like to add a dash or two of salt to mine. Will say this beer was better when brewed by Pabst and not MillerCoors.

1744 Busch Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.4

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

If your young and broke & need lots of light beer then this would be one to choose. Of course you need to server this beer as ice cold as you can get it. Also good beer for beer drinking games. The light version is a lot more watery then regular version but then you would expect that being a "light"

1745 Bohemia Mexico Lager 3.0

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Pours a clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin bright white head that died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a bit of lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma is of grainy malts and corn in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops. The taste is similar to the aroma, the taste has flavors of grainy malts and is accompanied by a light to moderate amount of bitterness that persists through the taste. It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation with a bit of dryness in the finish. I believe this beer is a cut above most other standard macro Mexican lagers and is relatively fairly easy to drink.

1746 Rolling Rock Extra Pale United States Pale Lager 1.5

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

When Rolling Rock was brewed independently, in Old Latrobe, I thought it was a good clean, refreshing beer especially for the price. The original version would have a much higer score (5's & 6's instead of 3's). However, since the AB/InBev takeover, it might as well be Busch Light, so much for the original receipe. Good-bye, Rolling Rock, we will miss you!"

1747 Rolling Rock Ice United States Pale Lager 3.0

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Rolling Rock was beer of choice during my collage days, (when i couldn't afford the really good stuff). It had to be served ice cold. Poured a nice light amber with a small white head that quickly disappeared. There wasn't much of an aroma but the taste was decent for the price, crisp sweet pale malt with no skunk. Decent carbonation.

1748 Rolling Rock Light United States Light / Lite Lager 2.7

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5

Pours a pale golden yellow that's completely see-through. There's some short lived, soapy, fizzy head when first poured. The nose is sweet and corny with yeasty undertone. The taste is similar. It's very light and sweet with grainy, corn notes. The mouthfeel is super light, a little dry, very crisp, but smooth and easy to drink back in the day.

AB-has done it again, taken another good beer and ruined it. Not sure how they do it but it never fails. This beer is now a shadow of it's former self. Not worth even typing any other comments.

1750 Yuengling Traditional Lager United States Vienna / Amber Lager 3.9

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

It pours a reddish copper with a nice white head that quickly fades and leaves a wispy lace. The aroma is of grains and malt aroma, but not overpowering on the aroma. The taste has the grains and malts. It is not too sweet, but very enjoyable. There isn't much in the way of the hops, but even without this is a tasty larger brew. The mouthfeel has a medium body and has medium carbonation to it. Yuengling in general is a great company with what I've had by them over the years. This traditional lager is a great beer.
