I was told this would ruin me forever for IPAs - not so. Colour - hazt rust colour, this off white head. Aroma - citrus, pine, weak grass. Mouthfeel - medium bodied. Flavour - a hoppish onslaught, grapefruit. Overall - better than most Stone beers

A new Impy stout from Amsterdam. Colour - a solid dark brownish-black with a thin creamy brown head. Aroma - roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Mouthfeel - medium to full. Flavour - sweet coffee laden chocolate, although the alcohol was noticeable. Overall - decent.

2011 Bottle. Colour - solid black, 1" creamy head. Aroma - roast, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and caramel. Mouthfeel - full bodied and creamy. Flavour - sweet malt, bitter coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Overall - heaven's to Betsy, this is an amazing stout, and affordable.

Bottle. Colour - brownish black, brown head. Aroma - chocolate nibs, licorice, cocoa, coffee. Mouthfeel - full bodied. Flavour - chocolate milk, coffee. Overall - A very good beer, captures the chocolate milk essence quite well. Would be nice if it came in a single serving size instead of 750ml

Can (newly available in Ontario). Colors - a solid black pour, similar to a thin motor oil, creamy brown head. Aroma - roasted malt, vanilla. Mouthfeel - thick and creamy. Overall - a very bitter beer. While good, needed some more 'sweetness' to cut through the bitterness.

Bottle. Colour - dark brown, almost black pour with a quite large creamy brown head. Good Lacing. Aroma - coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel - creamy, full bodied, ample carbonation. Flavour - coffee, coffee, and more coffee balanced out with some vanilla and licorice to provide balance.

Big Bottle. Colour - a very black pour with a huge creamy golden brown cap and excellent lacing. Aroma - dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and molasses. Mouthfeel - full bodied, very creamy, well carbonated. Flavour - sweet molasses, bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Scrumptious!

Can. Colour - light red, orange hues, cream coloured foamy cap that lasts a long time. Aroma - caramel, citrus, some light pine notes as well. Mouthfeel - light bodied, light carbonation. Maybe a bit flat? Flavour - light caramel and bready notes backed by a weak hop finish. Extra Delicious is not how I would describe this.

Can. Colour - pale rust colour, slight cloudiness, and a weak off-white cap that laces well. Aroma - cereal malt, light pine, and light citrus. Mouthfeel - a bit on the thin side, but well carbonated. Flavour - sweet grains and light toffee notes up front with the hoppy citrus notes kicking in at the end. Good effort.

Bottle. Colour - Medium gold, slightly hazed, generous white cap, good lacing. Aroma - pine, citrus, bread, and light yeast. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, decent carbonation. Flavour - more malt than hops, not very well balanced, worth trying but will never be in regular rotation

Bottle. Colour - light amber, slight haze, thin white cap, no lacing. Aroma - grapefruit hops, biscuity malt, wet grass. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, light carbonation. Flavour - very hop forward with citrusy hops all over the place and very little hint of the biscuity malt.

Bottle. Colour - medium golden orange, cloudy, huge white head, good lacing. aroma - grapefruit hops, biscuity malt, hints of spice. Mouthfeel - full bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - nicely balanced with bready malt flavours up front and a citrus hop bite in the finish. Not as hoppy as the 90 minute, but better balanced.

Can. Colour - pale gold, hazy, huge white cap, lots of effervescence. Aroma - pine, citrus, grass, and cereal. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, over carbonated. Flavour - tropical hoppiness, but not as hoppy as the aroma would indicate. Balance is missing with the hops drowing out the malt.

Bottle. Colour - clear rust colour, plenty of effervescence, minimal cream colouyred head. Aroma - tropical fruit, citrus, grass, pine, and cereal malts. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour - hop forward beer with plenty of citrusy hops notes, some cereal malt notes are present, but definitely overpowered by hops.

Big Bottle. Colour - Clear copper colour, foamy white head, faint lacing. Aroma - cereal malt, floral hops, pine, and citrus. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - not very well balanced as it is more hops than malt, and even at that, it isn't a good hop punch.

Big Bottle. Colour - a slightly cloudy reddish-gold pour, thin off-white head, no lacing. Aroma - weak caramel malt, pine notes, light grapefruit hoppiness. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - weak cereal malt and caramel sweetness backed with a citrusy hop punch and a lingering bitterness.

Can. Colour - light golden straw colour, cloudy, thin foamy white cap, no lacing. Aroma - citrusy hops, weak notes of tropical fruit, grass, biscuits. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, decent carbonation. Flavour - decently bitter citrus notes with a hint of biscuity malt in the background. Could have used a bit more hops for a better hoppy punch.

Bomber Bottle. Colour - transparent medium gold, white creamy head, very little lacing. Aroma - floral hops, cereal grains, citrus. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - nicely balanced between the jasmine notes and the citrus notes on the back end.

Bottle. Colour - Deep gold, clear, frothy white head. Aroma - cereal malts, light pine, light citrus, some toffee notes. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - starts off sweet and malty before giving way to a citrusy finish.

Can. Colour - hazed orange-gold colour with a decent sized frothy white head and very nice lacing. Aroma - cereal malt, weak peachy notes, slight citrus, and yeast. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, nicely carbonated. Flavour - Well balanced, fruit and malt notes in the front and a citrus hop finish. Great beer.

Can. Colour - orangy-gold, slight haze, frothy cream coloured head, okay lacing. Aroma - light fruit notes including orange, pineapple, and grapefruit mixed in with some biscuity malt. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - biscuity malt up front, some yeasty flavours, some tropical fruit notes and a bitter finish. A good beer, but not a great beer.

Draught. Colour – pale yellow gold with good effervescence and a half inch frothy white cap. Lacing is decent. Aroma – bready malt notes, citrus hops, weak pine notes, and toffee. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, over carbonated. Flavour – sweet bready malt, light notes of caramel, but not well balanced as the citrus hop finish is very weak.
