Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 This is my least favourite C'est What beverage. Colour - solid brown colour, light brown this head. Aroma - grainy malt, butterscotch, acid. Mouthfeel - thin to medium bodied. Flavour - artificial was the word used by people, I'll second that. Almost had a metallic sense in the mouth Overall - below average. |

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Bottle. Colour – brown sugar brown, clear, weak bubbly white head, no lacing. Aroma – nuts, roasted malt, sour grains, weak herbal hops, yeast. Mouthfeel – thin to medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour – nutty malt, weak yeast and weak hop notes in the finish. I remember this beer as a youngster getting some TV commercial coverage but it did not live up to the fame. |

Very good beer. |

Aroma - light fruit notes, biscuity malt, earthy hops. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour - very malty up front with the grain coming through, and a nice bitter hop bite at the end. Pretty good beer. |

Mouthfeel – Medium bodied, slightly thin, well carbonated. Flavour – Very roasty, very chocolatety, some hints of coffee and licorice. A very good beer. |

I remember when this beer came out in 1990, it was all the rage, now it sits on shelves for months. |

Colour – dark brown, reddish hues, solid but transparent when held up to a light, light tan head, good lacing. Aroma – roasted malt, caramel, molasses, dark fruit, dark chocolate. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour – sweet up front, bitter in the finish, no hint of alcohol. Well balanced. Great beer. |

Aroma – very grainy with biscuits and cereal with a lot of sweet caramel notes. Hop notes are earthy. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour – nicely balanced between the caramel malt sweetness and the bitter hop finish. Maybe a little coffee in there as well. |

Aroma - roasted malt tones, dark fruits, musty hops. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Flavour - thin roasted malt flavour with hints of fruit and bread. There was no depth of flavour was one would expect from a dark lager. |

Aroma - banana, spice, yeast, wheat and alcohol. Mouthfeel - medium to full bodied and creamy. Flavour - very sweet, brown sugar and spicy. Overall - excellent. |

The finish is quite bitter and there is a hint of alcohol present on the tongue. |
