The Virginia Guinness is what the barkeep called this. I don't drink a lot of Guinness so not sure. Dark in color, frothy head, on the watery for a stout. Certainly didn't thrill me in any way.

An enjoyable lager. I wasn't sure what to expact from this brewery as I had never tried them before but they surprised me. A clear copper color with a white head. Lots of caramel in the nose and palate. Creamy. Enjoyable.

The second Rochefort beer I've tried and every bit as good as the 10. If I have one complaint is that the aroma wasn't as sweet as the 10, but almost identical to the 6 (tried a couple of hours later). But, I could drink any of these all day long (and all night)

Recently tried this beer and was not impressed, quite boozy in my opinion. The other aromas and flavours suffered as a result. While I've heard great things aboput this brewery, none of the beers I've tried are anything special to me.

I was really hoping to like this beer, but again, it was thinner than I was hoping, not as chocolatey as I was hoping, and a little too boozy for my liking. Put those together and it's a hard beer to love.

Finally had the opportunity to try the two Rocheforts that I had missed previously and I have to be honest, I didn't see a whole lot of difference between the three of them. Lots of bread and dark fruits mixed with yeast. They don't try to hard to deviate from the formula. Maybe the thinnest of the three, but still an excellent beer.

This was an alright schwarzbier, most authtntic German schwarzbiers are around the 5% mark in ABV, and this comes in a lot higher. As it's a lager, the higher alcohol content is extremely noticeable. Would not try again.

Found on tap at the Ginger Man. Another decent beer from these Texas folks. The color is darker than expected, but the pineyness was definitely present alnog with some malt. Far from outstanding, but quite quaffable as the bartender said.

Found at Ginger Man in Dallas, a not too bad porter. A tad on the roasty side with quite a bit of dryness to it, but plenty of flavor in the way of chocolate, coffee and pecans. I would definitely try it again.

Loved the bottle, the contents, not so much. Quite different from the millenium in that the alcohol was less pronounced, but similar in that it had more in common with a good spirit rather than a beer.
