A solid dunkel from start to finish. Very nutty and malty sweet. Hints of smoke in the finish. Medium body and very drinkable. A hair of bitterness in the finish helps bring on the next sip.

I got a 12 pack of this beer and I wish I could get my money back. It’s is a hop flavored seltzer. Im trying it for the third time and every can had been extremely carbonated, causing me to burn several times immediately after each sip. It’s virtually undrinkable and seems to be missing all of the malt. Hopefully it’s a bad batch, and not always like this. Boo

This beer is always around for sale during the season and I won’t compliant. Got a four pack this. I haven’t had a real Belgian in a while so it’s a real treat. Excellent foam with perfect lacing. Dark, reddish brown color. A strong beer that presents no difficulty in attempts to finish it. Alcohol is very warming and drying in the finish to contrast the sweet, dark fruit and bready start. Full body with a lightly fizzy carbonated texture. Try it if you haven’t!

Ah, a real German Marzen. Too bad it’s a long way from home. The aroma struck me as odd at first. But compared to the New York marzen I had last night, this one is gold. So drinkably sweet. Lots of honey and bready malt flavor. Lightly hopped and smooth going down the hatch. Lots of head and sticky lacing. More please

You can’t ask for a better looking big beer. Super dark hard with plenty of bubbling and a steady meniscus. Aroma of sweet caramel, vanilla, oak and dark fruits, combined with a pleasant smokiness. The thick beer is very smooth on the palate and no where near as boozy as most 14 plus percent beers, yet I can feel the affects before my glass’s liquid level dropped below mid point. Complex flavors. Easy to drink. Not much more I can ask for.

Last of the bunch. Can’t say it was a good idea right after the fruit sour thing. Another crystal clear beer. A bit more copper color and softer white head but no lacing. Mild hop aroma and flavor with a dead aftertaste. My least favorite of the 4. Also too much alcohol presence.

Not much carbonation on this one. Very hazy and reddish in color, at least as far as my color blind eyes can tell. It does have a great strawberry aroma and good start to the flavor but ends with some odd tones. Good amount of tartness though. Not bad but wouldn’t try again

Second beer in the brewery. Seems like a silly name for a plain old APA but I’ll drink it. Very nice clear, golden beer with white sparkling head. A touch fruity and hoppy. Good balance. Better than these first beer In the flight.

Drinking this at the brewery. First one of the flight. It’s not like other Vienna lagers. A bit more hop than the usual but it’s still a fine beer. Clear golden color. Easy to drink. Next!

Great beer! Black with a decent and dark head. First sniff was oak and honey. Dark fruit came out later, with more delicious malt and complexity from the barrel aging. Smooth going down and no alcohol noticed until I sat up and tried to walk! I'll definitely try another one of these!
