Pours a really dark brown beer with matching head of somewhat thin bubbles that eagerly fizzed away. Deep aroma of chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. The sweetness gives way quickly to bitterness of a floral and pine hop. I've had the oak aged version before, and I seem to remember enjoying it more than this one.

Crazy brown, thick head on this one! Great hop aroma when I cracked open the can. Full body, with carbonation apparent. Roasted malt and lots of hop. Flowery aroma but more pine in the taste. Doesn't seem nearly as strong as advertised. A local (to where I am) beer that I've never tried before and now I definitely want to try more.

Really nice aroma filled the air with this pour. Great fluffy head and super cloudy, yellow-orange color. Interesting hop aroma. Citrus, flowers, grapefruit, and a bit of spice. Full body. Bitter and a little puckering. Good beer.

Great porter, just the way I like them. Chocolate and sweet toffee from the get-go. Very dark, red-brown color with a decent head. Medium body and very well balanced. The sweetness is not overpowering as it turns into a slightly dry, earthy finish. I would drink this again for sure, and its the second winner I've had from this brewery. Looking forward to more.

Had 12oz of this at my local bottle shop, where they also offered 16oz, and I'm glad I only went for the 12! Strong beer with a fantastic, brown, thick head. Super dark brown. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, maple, and bourbon. Thick and sweet. Too sweet for my liking, but its to be expected. Try it if you find it.

Pours golden with flecks of sediment floating around, probably because I had to walk 3 blocks with it before opening. Very fizzy head with good lacing. A real sour ale, and very welcoming after so many American sours I've had in recent years. Has a much more "natural" sourness of vinegar and green apple. A little sweet. Complex flavors. A nice beer, but certainly not for everyone.

Pours dark brown with a fine bubbled head that leaves an excellent ring of lacing until the end. Roasted malt caramel aroma stands out with hints of coffee and wood. A sweet beer that dries a hair in the finish. Strong yet smooth. A very nice beer.

Pours very black but very little foam. Very well balanced chocolate, bitter coffee and sweetness. Easy drinking. Awesome chocolate aroma. Finish is a little dry. Just right.

Christmas time for good beer. Age two years and amazing soft and pleasantly boozy palate. Creamy light brown head. Cherry, oak and sweet malt. Delicious dark fruit flavors. Merry Christmas!

Pours very dark brown with a tan head and leaves a bit of lacing. Such a strong beer yet flaunts less alcohol than some 8 or 9% imperial stouts! Silky and soft going down with only a little alcohol in the finish. Vanilla and oak. Roasted malt and a bit of chocolate and maybe some coffee. Notes of whiskey also come through. Not sweet, not bitter, just right. A well crafted beer!
