Last seen drinking Nothing!
I am a proud Father of two girls and a husband to an amazing wife. I am originally from Long Island, New York but have been given the opportunities to go live in serveral other states back East to include Rhode Island, Maryland, Florida and New Mexico. Living here in Huntington Beach California is great. I enjoy great beers and am a veteran of the Ramshead Around the World Beer club. Although I do not drink a lot or often, the weekends provide good opportunities for me to sample good beers from near and far.

I tried this one one night in front of the fire and it was a solid English style holiday ale. Balanced and full, this one had a hint of nut on the nose with hints of toasted malts. For sure a great holiday ale.

I wanted to see what SA had in the way of a winter warmer style brew. I picked up a sixer and was surprised at the amount of hops this brew boasts. Almost an IPA. Maybe the festive packaging is the trick to this one.

Whew. Maybe I just will never transcend into the ranks of those who appreciate something this vulgar. Admitedly so, I DID have this one AFTER an 11th anneversary ale, which I found to be good. Anyhow, the A.B. was bold, strong and packed with the malt and bitterness one might need if into this type of brew. A good one if the temps outdoors reach sub-zero conditions.

I was captured by the SAISON genre last fall when I tried the NBBC SAISON. I have been unable this season to find this brew so a firend and I split this one. Do the right thing and get yourself the correct glass to drink this one from. It was the answer to the question for me as to where the saison of the year had gone. This was it. A certainty for the fall season.

This one was great. I shared it with a great friend in front of a fire outdoors and this simply accentuated the robust body of this brew. Balanced and hearty, this dubbel was fitting for the autumn season. I will certainly try the trippel.
