Great lawmower beer. A clean crisp beer that comes off like a bit like a blond ale. If you're looking for something to keep you cool when it's 100+ in the summer thins one does the job. Nothing exciting for the beer geeks - the rye stays in the background and there nothing too complex going on here either.

Light golden amber color with a wall of hops in the nose. Solid bitterness and slightly tart flavor with just enough malt to balance. Very crisp finish. Clean beer - hops are not competing with too much sweet malt/carmel like many double IPAs. Pure hop heaven through and through.

Roadkill skunk in the nose, rotting vegetables for a flavor profile and lacking in body even by lager standards. We bought this stuff on many surfing trips in Baja in the 70's since it was the cheapest mexican swill available (we didn't want to spring the big bucks for Dos Equis or Bohemia). Nasty stinky stuff that some marketing genius started welling in the US as a "premium" import. Slap a label on dog s**t and with enough advertising the clueless masses will buy. I wonder if we can export lucky lager and sell it in European bars for 5 Euros a pint!?!

I've had this in a few countries and it just doesn't live up to the hype. Kind of cool looking on draft but other than that I've found it thin with wet cardboard flavors that linger - not appealing.

One of my favorites! Deep, slightly cloud ruby color with deep deep funky cherry notes in the nose. Tons of complex flavors - exquisite! Next time I visit NB I'm buying a full case.
