Is this a novelty beer? Seriously… It explodes whenever you open it, try to pour it, drink it or even think about it. Maybe I will keep some of these in the back of the fridge to give to all the Beer Zombies that try to feed on the beer of the living. I know what I’m passing around next April fools day.

Blue Moon is a must try beer. Sure there are better Belgian Style beers available, but this beer is not bad at all for price. It has very little head and a very average smell, but the taste is B+ material, and that’s from a strict grader.

Now here is an interesting and relatively cheap domestic. If you are looking for the cheapest beer you can buy that doesn’t taste like you’re “Suckling from Satan’s rancid teat” then this is surly one to consider. It has the bonus of being available in most of the common venues (convince stores, gas stations, etc…) that you’ll find Satan’s rancid stock.

There seems to be growing subculture of people who feel hostile to any one who doesn’t feel that Bud is simply the best beer for the price. Many of my good friends belong to this niche. This idea seems to stem from a growing paranoia that “an ivory tower is out to get us proletariats!” Well I’m here to tell you that Bud is the most average lager for the most average price. If you’re truly “price smart” go pick up a Michelob variety which is at least a small bit above average and priced the same.

Straight sixes, an average beer. I must agree with the mantra being chanted in previous reviews. This is an average beer being trumped up as a fancy import in advertisements. Nothing wrong with it, but not worth the “Import” price tag.
