Repeal Party
Beer Events by DREWSESLU
I just picked up my tickets for the Schlafly Repeal of Prohibion Party earlier today. Its April 9th and Harpoon and Beer Works will be there as well. Five hours of pure inebriation, and I'm quite excited about it, its only my second beer festival, after all. I hope to see some of you there. Whenever I sober up from it, I'll post how it went. http://www.schlafly.com/repeal.html

Alright, now that I can see straight, here's the story: For this repeal party I heard this plan is to bring in breweries from the same city as the reigning World Series Champion. There's plenty to look forward to, folks. Although there was nothing world class or that blew my mind, the beer sure as hell was good. There was some inventive brewing showcased as well...Peanut Butter Porter, a blueberry beer, and a pumpkin beer that actually tasted like pumpkins. All in all it rocked. Now I need to go nurse this hangover.
In Reply To #4 Yea, so maybe it dawns on you why there is a purity code in bier!! All those "adjunks" are just that-added junk to bier. Bad ju, ju, kata, hangover. You want to put crap in bier-then distill it afterwards! Addjunk got bad boogie in 'em. Bawhana no drink, ju, ju!!! P.S. No matter what you drink, you go to feat you gotta get into training dyas before. Drink much water, take me ground up asprin night you go to bed after drinking, eat em big essen while drinking. Dem is the gri gri that keep die kata away. This message was edited by Brad Pear at 4/11/2005 11:18:04 AM.
In Reply To #5 Its true the adjuncts produce all kinds of nasty crap (stupid fusels) that don't help you much the next day. But in this case I blame the two hours I spent just walking fromt he Harpoon IPA keg to the Schlafly Bock keg without any real distractions (besides the few seconds it took to get a refill).
