The Spiked Seltzer Trend.
Non-Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF
The Internet has identified a recent surge. I've tried a few varieties of White Claw, and I'm drinking Natural Light Seltzer Catalina Lime Mixer right now. Recent background: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5-bEqvoLbU Since August, Natural Light has been making their mark in this scenario: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRm7PKUgN_U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krlIR2iTP1E I have yet to try the Mango Peach, but I agree with Katryna as far as Natural Light vs White Claw. White Claw is a decent product. Natural Light is cheaper, and has a bit more alcohol. Best features: Spiked seltzer's abv matches macro beer standards. The ones I've tried aren't super sugarsweet like some malt beverages. Maybe they'd be good for the desert island scenario? Pure water plus flavoring and subdued alcohol. For me, spiked seltzer can't replace good beers...but I can recommend limited consumption. ;)

Natural Light Seltzer Aloha Beaches (Mango & Peach) poured down the middle into an opaque white cup. Looks like plain water after the fast-dissipating seltzer head. Aroma is pleasant but artificial. VERY easy drinking. Chalky aftertaste. None of the spiked seltzers that I've tried are harsh...but this one is exceptionally smooth. If you're looking for a genuine mango and peach beverage, look elsewhere. For what it is, I can give a favorable nod to this one. OK? :)
A more expensive but better alternative, Corona Refresca. More real-tasting natural fruit flavors. https://www.totalwine.com/beer/specialty-styles/specialty-beer/corona-refresca-variety-pack/p/227197122 Also sweeter and more full-bodied than the seltzers, but not as sugary as these: https://www.steelreservealloyseries.com/# :D
