Discover Belgian Beer!

General Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF

Over a decade ago, Flashpro was going to a Michael Jackson lecture and wanted to ask Mr. Jackson about this. I took Bill Yenne's opinion that Belgium was THE beer capital of the world, afa VARIETY. Flash was certain that the US had a greater variety of brews than Belgium. We never concluded with a definite reply. [8)] I'm sure the US dwarfs li'l ol' Belgium in terms of output. But when Variety & Quality are brought into the equation...Which beer country is better? [?] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=420A9dja88I On a - note, Stella Artois was crap beer last time I tried it. I used to watch that as a kid, I am sure it was in reruns. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was an interesting movie.

Yes, looks like an interesting movie, and well-rated. I'll see if I can watch it online! [8D]

"In the 1980s, Barris scaled down Barris Industries, wrote his autobiography, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (1984), and moved to Saint-Tropez. In his book, Barris claimed to have been a CIA assassin in the 1960s and 1970s, assertions that the CIA itself has refuted and which various media entities have implied should be taken with a grain of salt. In 2002, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was made into a feature film helmed by debut director George Clooney and starring Sam Rockwell, Drew Barrymore and Julia Roberts, among others. The art-house oriented work was positioned as a drama with a certain amount of kitsch and comedic flair." A Beautiful Mind and Session 9, undeniably companion flicks, are much like BARRIS's Confessions.... There are links which further elaborate on BARRIS's "CIA Assassin" tale. [8)]

I watched some Remote Control on Youtube, and it's still fun to watch. https://youtu.be/91eRs51Om5Y I like the Denis Leary cameo! I recall seeing Adam Sandler on there too. Double Dare was a favorite for me as a kid and the few clips I watched confirmed it was a good kids' game show.
