A quick search indicates maybe some changes for the better over time?, with those 3 baddies I mentioned. For now, THESE epitomize the Fort Schuyler beers that we drank @ Caroga Lake NY in the early 70's! http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/37362-fort-schuyler-beer [xx(]

And weren't the earlier bottles labeled with the sillouette of a military bugler? [8)]

The visit to Indian Wells confirmed that they are, indeed, the worst brewery out there. I seriously do not know how they are in business. You may be saying right now "cause of fucktards like you that go there even though you hate them." While you have a vaild point, this was a one time only thing, and they didn't make enough $$ off me to keep em going. Even most of their sodas are turrible.

On the flip side, the expanded since we were there last Modern Times continues to impress, and Saint archer was a HUGE pleasant surprise.

[:D] I wish we could stage a tasting...for Stewart's vs Indian Wells...but afaik Stewart's is no longer available. [xx(][xx(][xx(] I tried a Saranac soda or two, and the house flavor really was NOT a good ingredient...as I've stated. They do still have some nice brews! F.X. Matt II is gone, but the quality lives on.

I never drank Andeker...I like Michelob and some of its varieties (such as wheats)...but I don't remember what it was like from these backintheday commercials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaCtrxqbmaM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVWyaglpEQA Are there any "Super Premium" American Lagers made now, that are really better than the BMC Class products? Wish I could have tried Andeker, but I don't think I ever saw it anywhere. [:p]

Had what was supposed to be a pb & j soda from Indian Wells...and odd flavor, but one that shouldn't have been that hard...tasted like lightly sweetned carbonated dust. Never will any of their beers though, inspire the "who farted in my glass" like Tahoe Blue from Joseph James. That beer was effed up!

For the least end of the scale, surely Rickards and Sleemans must feature, and after this past weekend, I'm not liking Mill St all that much, either.

The fall of Schlitz is mentioned, but apparently the BIG FAIL was further back than I realized. I remember Schlitz was generally available in the early 70's; I preferred it and sorta liked Bud, although most of my crowd swore by Genesee. [:D] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlgbwGHF8GQ
