And a pretty good one at that... Beer Bucket List: 25 Beers You Must Try I've had 19 of them, with one more in my beer fridge, The Abyss - thanks PfoxyJohn.

Yeah...agreed. I think if I add up all the different kinds of stouts, they'd take the cake, but between IPAs and IIPAs, they account for nearly 13% of my ratings, and probably a much higher % of the total intake. I love me some hops!!

The real question, slowrunner, is how many IPAs have you had?

Huh. I thought I'd tried that, but I must have been thinking of one of the other (awesome) lagers from the WI Beer Mafia. If I have ormaybe can get some things you might want, John, let me know.

Anybody willing to send one that's higher than SHIFT (my easy favorite so far) in the rankings?

Looks like one o those 99 pale lagers got reclassified. Sitting at 98 now, with Hannah's waitin in the wings.
That is prety much Old Chicago's model. We have 110 beers! We just don't tell you that at least 90 of them are pale lager.

I thought you had just visited Kamloops! We have a "Beer Bar" here called of all weird things, "Frick and Frack". Terrible food, looks like a boston pizza, and they have 99 beers that they love to advertise! 88 of the are Pale Lager, actually!
That's the model of a couple of Toronto's better known beer bars. For years, one them advertised 250 beers from around the world. And 150 of them were your pale lager/blonde ale from places like South Korea (Hite), Kenya (Tusker)etc which sounded exotic at the time, but after 50 or so, wasn't as interesting. But it was close to work and I managed to get through all of them.

Old Chicago is a US chain with decent food, but I don't go out of my way to visit. I know that there are quality beer bar chains, but the closest ones to me me are a few hours away. Luckily, we have some good local beer bars that care about their selection. More bars are getting at least a couple of craft taps, things are still improving. [8D]

Sweet! I had Hannah's Horny Toad, which is most likely the 2nd best pale lager I've had.

Suds has done it! (disclaimer: while I'm happy to report he nailed it, I in no way inflated my score on this beer because it was a trade) [:D] Hops & Grain The One They Call Zoe is THE ONE. As far as pale lagers go anyway. Immediately even with Shift and quickly outpaced my personal former #1. Nice brew, regardless of style. Thanks, bro. Zoe scored nearly double my average score for the style, possibly unprecedented. He also sent me the 3rd or 4th best Kolsch I've ever had.
