Brewster Newsters--Women Brewers in the News
Industry News by FOAMDOME
Congratulations to Kristi Mathews Griner on her new job as Director of Brewing Operations at Capitol City Brewing Company - Arlington! I had the privilege of listening to Kristi speak at the Holidaze Extravaganzee last December at RFD Washington. More power to her! Here's to women putting the "st" in Brewster.

Same here, favorite Chimay for me. Just pulled an old bottle from my beer cellar (best before end of 2008) and thought I would review this here. Get much darker (golden-amber), but the head is still totally fine with great retention. Aromas of dark fruits (figs, plums, raisins) with caramel malt and light wood. The wood can be tasted as well with the other smells in the background. Lots of floaties, but this beer is still drinkable, almost 5 years after it's best before date. Thank God, as I have a bunch left in the cellar.
