I live in Alexandria but I make it up to the city often, so I'll offer some help. This is a great time to come to DC Area for beer! Top recommendation is Saturday growler fill at DC Brau. Your Favorite Foreign Movie medalled at GABF. The Corruption IPA is outstanding. Other breweries in DC: Chocolate City, 3 Stars, Port City, many more within 25 miles if she has time. Bottle shops: simple. If she loves you, she'll hop on the nearby red line and head up a few stops. Probably a half mile walk on both ends of a ~5 stop metro ride of about 10-15mins. A bit much, especially if carrying a big package.... but.... how much does she love you? Haha.

She doesn't love me that much. OR...I love her too much to ask this of her. I'll stick to the ones closer to where she'll be. Thanks for the info guys!
