This is a must have, and is one of the few beers that marries the combo of the base beer and barrel aging together in such a way...well..it gave me a boner it was so freakin' good.

Wood. My new criteria for giving out the elusive 5.0.

This beer defies words. It's amazing. I have a King Henry in my cellar and would like to sample next to a Sucaba. While King Henry is mind blowing too, I think Sucaba is in the same league with MUCH less hype.

I definitely think they are in the same league, and two of the best barleywines, barreled or not, that i've ever had. I did the head to head, and King Henry pulled it out. That's more of a high priase for KH than a slam of Abacus/Sucaba...I think they are at 4.7 and 4.6 for me, respectively. That was one damn fine night!!!!
