Morels and beer

Got lucky and scored some fresh morels last night. Here's my recipe... 20 - 25 fresh morels 2 pats butter 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt dash freshly ground pepper 1 tsp beer, preferably lighter colored beer (i used my own homebrew, glacial maibock) melt butter, add morels and all ingredients except beer. Simmer 15 minutes. During last minute add beer. I used that last tsp that always clings to the bottom of the bottle. Make sure to cover while simmer and shake the pan every 2-3 minutes.

I normally don't eat mushroom, but I love morels. [:p] And I know where to find them in the wild. [:)]
