Both great beers. I don't care if a beer is Top 100 or Top 150...great is great and I enjoyed both these beers very much. Both are world class brews, although the availability of one and the price range of the other make them....rare for me to enjoy.

Black Ops was the best beer I drank in the entire last year, 2011, period. I haven't had the opportunity to try Parabola.
it a nice beer, but i guess i got spoiled.. i easily had it about a dozen times last year and a half and only a couple of bottles really sparkled...

The 2012 batch is phenomenal. Best I've had since the first time, which us guys always seem to remember fondly. [;)]

This beer is amazing. I'm excited to hear the high praise for the new release as I just scored a few in a trade. Firestone Walker does amazing things with barrels. XV, Abacus/Sucaba, and Parabola are all top tier.

I struggle to open the bottles that I have, since I see them so rarely, but tomorrow night I'll crack the '12 Parabola, so I'm with you...hard to read about without thinking of sharing one.

Not to gloat (ok, I'm gloating just a bit..lol), my local grocery store has a manager that's a homebrewer and beer nut. Somehow he got a case of Parabola and Sucaba...he's selling them for $10.99 a bottle. I about crapped my pants.

I'm moving across town at the end of July, and packed up some clothes and beer to get a jump on clutter removal. Sadly, when I went home to drink this, I realized it was packed away. Had a shitty pale lager taste-off instead [xx(] ...and a Latitude 48.
