North Peak Darkangel

Beer Discussion by KINGER

BeerPal Notice: This topic was created for discussion of the beer North Peak Darkangel. Style changed from a porter to a fruit beer (at least I'm pretty sure I entered it as a porter). Why? It's a porter with cherry juice added, but the fruit aspect is not the main feature in this beer. It's still a porter first and foremost. Is it the site's stance that any beer with a fruit product as an ingredient be deemed a fruit beer per style?

I don't believe so, and I would chalk it up to it being human error (and it should be a porter). If fruit is a supporting character of a beer and not the main focus, it's a pretty easy call. But then again, what do I know. There are some beers that straddle the line and it would be a judgement call. I don't believe this is one of those instances.

Oops! My bad. See what happens when I try to be helpful around here? Changed it back to Porter. Thanks Cory[:)]

No worries Travis, I was just curious if there was an Admin opinion/stance that should be accounted for in the future. And I do thank you for the help my friend.
