Bret, brewer at Growler's of Gaithersburg (MD), likes squash, too. "We are launching our imperial pumpkin ale, Sassquash, on Oct 28th. We made it on our pilot system, so there is only 1 barrel but we sell pilots by the snifter so that as many people as possible can try them. Sassquash is 9.5% ABV and spiced with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla and aged on American oak." Is that a great name for an Impy Pumpkin, or what?

I think it's called "Greg", but Alan at Hair of the Dog makes a squash beer that is really, really good. Wish they bottled it (and sold it in Kansas or Missouri).
